Discover your passion while training in our upscale salon! Why go to school when you can train in a beautiful high-end salon? At Florida Academy’s Redken Premier School, you will get hands-on professional training as a nail technician.
In as little as two months, you will be prepared to launch an exciting new career as a nail technician and enjoy the growing opportunities in the beauty industry. Upon completing our accredited program and passing the final exam, you will be able to apply for your license through the state of Florida. This will allow you to serve clients in a variety of settings such as hair salons, nail salons, spas, and resorts.
Becoming a Nail Technician
Students begin by learning structures and disorders of the skin and nails. Program curriculum includes the demonstration of various techniques and artwork followed by supervised practice.
This course establishes a foundation for further study and provides a common orientation and language for all students. Emphasis is placed on sanitation, sterilization, ergonomics, and communication with every client to ensure customer satisfaction. As the course progresses, students will be encouraged to use their own creativity and ideas to create nail masterpieces.
