About Our Beauty & Wellness Training
Florida Academy’s beauty and wellness programs are designed to train our students in the latest techniques and professional services in cosmetology, skin care, nail technology, and massage. Our focus is on creating highly skilled and knowledgeable professionals who are passionate about their careers.
Cosmetology Program
As a student in our cosmetology program, you will learn from Southwest Florida’s top beauty professionals who bring years of real-world salon experience into our accredited program. Our instructors have worked in various roles in the beauty and wellness field and our curriculum is focused on today’s hottest trends and techniques. Our full-time day program is approximately 10 months and our evening program is about 15.5 months.
Massage Therapy Program
Students who graduate from our program consistently are amazed at how much information they learn in such a short period of time, giving them the skills needed to administer a wonderful massage. Our curriculum at Florida Academy is designed to give our graduates a jump-start into their new careers without spending years in school. At Florida Academy, you will be able to launch your career as a massage therapist in less than a year.
Nail Technician Program
In as little as two months, you will be prepared to launch an exciting new career as a nail technician and enjoy the growing opportunities in the beauty industry. Upon completing our accredited program and passing the final exam, you will be able to apply for your license through the state of Florida. This will allow you to serve clients in a variety of settings such as hair salons, nail salons, spas, and resorts.
Skin Care Program
Become a licensed facial specialist in as little as 11 weeks! Florida Academy’s up-to-the-minute skin care program is structured to provide our students with the very latest information on the skin – and its care – and to train them on how to perform the latest, most in-demand procedures and services.
